Kitchen-Team

< Responsible for the taste>
1.1. Three generations are working together in the kitchen, uniting well-tried dishes with the new, modern wind. How doesn’t know her? Our Grandmother Martina, who still wields the cooking spoon and sometimes also hits her grandchildren with it, when they are getting on her nerves. Her son Jürgen, our chef or most of the time “dr Monn fir olls” (the man for everything) – whether electrician, computer guru or sports enthusiast – already impressed his teachers during his schooltime with his taste, attention to detail and the desire to try new ideas. As apprentice of the year and creative mind we know him and his delicious dishes. Not to forget his two boys Damian and Yannick. Damian, the oldest, completed his apprenticeship in the 5-star Hotel Andreus. On the other Hand, Jannick the youngest, started his apprenticeship at home in April 2024. Whit great ambition he is following his goals. Together their an unbeatable team, who occasionally like to play pranks on their grandmother with a great deal of humour.

Service-Team

< Responsible for your wellbeing>
With a warm smile, Dagmar and Marie welcome you to the Pension Widmann in the Passeiertal. Dagmar, who has been part of the team since 2022, creates a cozy, homely atmosphere with her friendly nature and always has time for a pleasant chat.

Marie is involved throughout the house – in the service, at the reception, or in the kitchen – bringing South Tyrolean hospitality directly to our guests. You’re sure to come across her somewhere as she helps ensure that every stay at our house in the Passeiertal is personal, welcoming and enjoyable.
Our room attendant Verena ensures with great care and attention to detail that all rooms are always clean, well-kept, and welcoming.

Cleaning-Team

< Responsible for the gleam>
Who makes sure your rooms in the Pension Widmann sparkles every day? Our hardworking “room fairies,” Verena and Melanie. While you enjoy your breakfast, they take care of your room with vacuum cleaner and cloth. So, we ensure spotless spare rooms in our South Tyrol guesthouse. From early in the morning, they bring good spirits with them and work with such joy that you can feel the South Tyrolean hospitality in every room.
Petra pampers our guests during the cold season with great warmth and a comforting hot Aperol.

Our busy bee

< Responsible for the all-around>
We can’t fit all of Petras skills in a single description. Wherever help is needed in our family-run guesthouse in the Passeiertal – whether as a room fairy, in the service, at the reception, or in the kitchen – she is always there.

Her joy for her work shines through in her laughter and fills the entire house. With her bright smile, sense of humor and quick wit, she spreads good spirits everywhere. This is what makes every stay at the Pension Widmann a personal experience full of warmth, genuine hospitality, and excellent service in the Passeiertal.

Do you know how we are?

Come and get to know us…
In 1969, Hans, Jürgen’s father, built the walls of this family-run guesthouse in the Passeiertal. On August 1, 1972, he welcomed the first guests together with his wife, Martina.

With youthful energy and fresh ideas, Jürgen and Petra took over the guesthouse in 2011. Since 2014, the doors have been open to external guests looking for an authentic stay in South Tyrol.

For us the love for nature, a strong connectionto our homeland, hospitality and the culinary enjoymentcome first. High up in the mountains, guests can enjoy a South Tyrolean mountain holiday, relax, take in the views and forget the everyday routine

Now you know us, but we would also like to meet you! Come and visit us to make you your own idea!
